Hey there! I’m Coach Lindsay and I love all things involved in living a healthy lifestyle!
Nutrition, fitness, mindset, goals, gratitude, people, family, travel, adventure, reading, hiking, paddle boarding and high vibes are my jams! I live life in leggings and tennis shoes and make no apologies about it! Basically, I’ve been rocking “athleisure wear” since before it even had a name, so I guess I started the trend, just kidding, but seriously I do love my leggings!
That’s my very short story…for the way too wordy version, keep reading… or just skip to the bottom where I get to the good part about how I can help you reach your goals!
I fell in love with fitness as a teen on the track team because running gave me a mental escape. That love deepened when I was introduced to step aerobics in high school.
Ok, showing my age a bit here... but I'm not quite old enough to step in a leotard, tights and leg warmers!
In college, I became a certified group fitness instructor and taught classes on campus. I had a blast sharing my love for fitness with other students and staff!
It didn’t stop there though, my love for teaching and helping others continued as I became a 5th grade Math and Science Teacher,
and even that eventually circled back around to teaching Health and PE! Talk about an awesome job, teaching Elementary PE will rock your socks off!
I loved teaching with all my heart (one of my biggest accomplishments was being recognized as Teacher of the Year for my entire school district, holy cow that felt amazing, thank you!),
but I also really loved spending time with my two little girls and I was blessed with the opportunity to be a stay-at-home Mommy with my youngest...
now that is the hardest job I’ve ever done! If you know, you know.
During this time, I realized how much I missed teaching and was still very active in my own fitness and nutrition journey,
so I became a NASAM Certified Personal Trainer and started coaching clients in a group bootcamp setting (and still do occasionally!).
This was magic right here, stepping on that floor with the mic on, challenging clients to push beyond their comfort zone and reach new personal bests just sets my soul on fire!
This was it, the moment I knew I was meant to inspire others on their own personal health and wellness journey.
While working as a personal trainer I noticed the connection between fitness, nutrition and mindset is the key to long-term success!
When all three are aligned, my clients (myself included!) experience the greatest transformation. This seemed to be the secret, and yet the missing piece for so many.
So, back to school yet again (you’ve probably gathered that I love learning and will never stop) to become a certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition.
Drum roll please…that’s how Happy Habits Coaching was born!
I am here to inspire and motivate others to live their best lives through a combination of healthy habits that include nutrition, fitness and mindset because you can’t have one without the other…I’ve tried, and it didn’t work! You can probably relate. Ever tried a diet or new workout routine with the mindset, “This will probably fail just like all the other times.”
Bet I can guess how those attempts worked out! Been there, done that! No thanks!

I’m here to teach you how to live a healthy life on your terms with strategies that serve you and work because they are practical and can last a lifetime.
